New Version: Important Bug Fix

Version 2.80.10 of the Compass Universal Mail Client has just been released. This version addresses an issue certain users were experiencing, in which starting the application in the system tray would not display a system tray icon. This release should resolve this issue. The New Version is Finally Here!

The next generation of the Compasss Universal Mail Client (Version 2.80.05) has finally been released. It has been a hardworking year since the last version was released and over 2 years since the very first release. I really do apologize it took so very long, but I wanted to ensure that the program was as close to perfect as possible, and I believe I have accomplished that goal. Over the past year I have been listening attentively to your feedback, and ideas to help make this version of the Compass Universal Mail Client the best version ever. I hope these new features will make the program more useful, friendly and intuitive.

-Custom E-mail Support-

The most requested feature has finally been implemented! The newest version of the Compass Universal Mail Clients allows you to use any two Internet e-mail providers of your choice along with the standard Yahoo Mail, Gmail and Live Mail. So now, virtually every single Internet based email program is compatible with the Compass Universal Mail Client.

-Master Password-

Now you can set a master password on the application so that only you, or people with the password, will be able to access the program. This should keep your settings and mail secure.

-Performance Improvements-

Performance has been vastly improved. Resource activation buttons let you use only the email accounts you need.

-Enhancements to The User Interface-

This version of the Compass Universal Mail Client features various user interface enhancements, such as a brand new icon set to help make the overall user experience better.

-And Many Bug Fixes!-

OK, so we have been listening to all your awesome feedback and are happy to announce that we have implemented many of the features you have requested.

The following features will be in the next coming release of the Compass Universal Mail Client :

-Custom Email Support - I cannot tell you how many emails I have received requesting this feature! Anyway, I am happy to announce that we have finally integrated support for 2 custom email tabs. Now you can use any online email client with the Compass Universal Mail Client.

-Master Password - you can now set a master password that will lock the application on startup, and require you to input a password. This will ensure your email and application settings are kept secure and private.

-Better Hide Toolbars Support - the next version of the Compass Universal Mail Client will have a better hide toolbars support, and now your web email will re-size when toolbars are hidden.

-Many, Many Bug Fixes and Improvements - we have sorted out a lot of the bugs in the previous version and have improved on many features. This should lead to better performance and stability.

- And More!- that's not all! There are many other features and goodies, but we'll leave them as a surprise!

Many features have been added since the first official release, and the program as a whole has matured lot since then. Thank you to all our users who have provided us with feedback and input over the first year and helped make our software better. We are very excited to see what will happen in the upcoming year!
